Holaluz reaches an agreement with ChargePoint to offer smart charging solutions for electric vehicles

Holaluz, an energy transition company whose purpose is to achieve a 100% renewable planet, has reached a cooperation agreement ChargePoint Network (Netherlands) B.V belonging to the ChargePoint group (ChargePoint Holdings, Inc.,NYSE: CHPT), a leading electric vehicle (EV) charging provider.

The agreement with ChargePoint allows Holaluz to optimise the green surplus potential of its solar installations, offering owners the possibility of producing, consuming, storing and selling their own green energy in a flexible way. A solution that improves the efficiency of the electricity system through the coupling of production and consumption curves in a context of high renewable penetration and democratises access to Km 0 green energy.

The company, which has 1,000 Chargepoint CPH32 EV chargers installed, adds, with this alliance, an intelligent charging solution to its portfolio of flexible energy solutions. It also improves the value proposition for the customer by generating greater savings on electricity bills - by reducing the cost of charging electric vehicles - reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and preparing households for the future electrification of demand.
